At Underwriters Laboratories, Mr Aguilar oversees complex investigations involving the illegal manufacturing, distribution, and sale of items bearing
counterfeit UL marks in the US and Latin America. Mr Aguilar works closely with government agencies at all levels on matters related to IP infringement.
Engaging other IP private and public stakeholders in raising public awareness to the threat of product counterfeiting is also a major component in UL’s brand protection program.
