David Gilmore is a Detective Sergeant at the Intellectual Property Crime Unit in An Garda Síochána (Irish Police) and has over 17 years’ experience in Law Enforcement in Ireland. He has wide range of Intellectual Property Crime investigative knowledge including in both the online and offline environments, high level IPTV investigations and multi-jurisdiction search operations. He is a co-leader for Europol’s Operation Aphrodite and a member of the European IP Crime Investigators Network. He has completed the IIPCIC training programmes for Law Enforcement and actively promotes the IIPCIC with colleagues in Ireland. He is the National Contact point for industry liaison for An Garda Síochána (Irish Police). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Tourism from Technological University Dublin.
